- Arrive Early: All participating vehicles must be parked and completely decorated by 11:00 AM.

Halloween Events & Safety Guidelines
- Halloween Parade (October 24th): Mark your calendars! The annual community Halloween Parade will take place on Saturday, October 24th. Lineup begins at 10:45 AM, and the parade will officially start on Bradford Lane. Bring your family and your best costumes out to join the celebration!
- Car Decorating Volunteers Needed (October 24): We need 15 cars decorated for the parking lot to help make our event extra festive! Don’t worry about supplies—we do have decorations available for you to use. Please contact Sonjanique to sign up your car.
- Event Help Wanted (October 24): We are looking for six more people to help our team with the event setup and take-down. Your hands-on support makes these events possible! Please contact Sonjanique if you can lend a hand.
- Trick-or-Treating Hours (October 31): To ensure a safe and restful evening for all families, Country Walk requests that homeowners stop handing out candy at 8:30 PM on Halloween night. The Board is fully aware that the local teenager curfew does not end until 11:00 PM that Saturday; however, the neighborhood would greatly appreciate everyone’s cooperation in wrapping up neighborhood activities by 8:30 PM.

Calling All Veterans!
In honor of upcoming Veterans Day, Country Walk would like to honor its retired military, wounded warriors and veterans within our community on November 10. All military branches are invited. Retired veterans and wounded warriors: if you still have your uniform, we would like to place them as part of a display to honor your service. Please contact sonjaniquef@gmail.com if you would like to participate.

Honoring Sonjanique Ferrell: The Heart and Soul of Country Walk’s Community Spirit
If you’ve ever enjoyed a festive Easter egg hunt, celebrated Halloween with your neighbors, or felt the magic of the holiday season at Christmas, you have one exceptional person to thank: Sonjanique Ferrell.
For years, Sonjanique has been the driving force behind Country Walk’s most cherished traditions. Organizing and executing community events is a massive undertaking, yet she manages every detail from concept to cleanup with dedication and enthusiasm.
Her contributions, however, extend far beyond event planning. Sonjanique generously serves across multiple leadership roles, lending her time and expertise to the Nominations Committee, Advisory Committee, and Social Committee.
In addition to her tirelessness as a volunteer, her sharp business acumen has been an incredible asset to our community. Thanks to her professional background and clever resource management, Sonjanique has saved Country Walk thousands of dollars over the years—ensuring our neighborhood thrives both socially and financially.
To Sonjanique: thank you for your commitment, your endless energy, and your dedication to making Country Walk a wonderful place to call home. Our community is truly better because of you!

Swim Atlanta Contract & Pool Operations
Our contract with Swim Atlanta has been officially renewed and updated for 2027. Under this updated agreement, Swim Atlanta will handle comprehensive pool maintenance, professional lifeguarding, and gate monitoring.
While the new contract reflects a rate increase for these expanded professional services, the Board has optimized our budget by consolidating responsibilities. CW will not be hiring its own independent monitors, offsetting the contract increase by $6,000 in overhead costs. This approach ensures high-quality, professional oversight at our pool facilities while remaining fiscally responsible.

Landscaping Services Extension
We are pleased to share that Rid Landscaping will be renewed for the 2027 season. Their team will continue to handle our community’s lawn care, common area upkeep, and seasonal landscaping needs to keep our neighborhood looking its best.
