Reside With Pride
On Wednesday, March 4, the City of Powder Springs Public Works department will pick up discarded furniture, appliances, and many other items that aren’t usually accepted in the weekly trash pickup.
More details about what can and can’t be picked up are available from the city’s website at this link.

Always Clean Up After Your Dog!
Every responsible dog owner in Country Walk knows that you need to clean up after your pet right away, whether you’re walking down the sidewalk or playing on the field, whether it’s private property or common areas. We do not have a sanitation committee to take care of this for you: if it is your pet, it is your responsibility to clean up after them.
The City of Powder Springs follows Cobb County’s Animal Control policies (Ord. No. 2006-16, 8-21-2006). Section 10-138(b) states: “Persons who permit their animals to defecate on public or private property other than their own property are required to immediately pick up the feces, bag the feces, and properly dispose of the feces. Animal waste shall be removed by placing said matter in a closed or sealed container and thereafter disposing of it in the animal owner’s or public trash receptacle, sanitary disposal unit or other closed or sealed refuse container.” Please note that violations of any part of this ordinance subjects you to a fine. Animals that “damage, soil, defile, eliminate or defecate on private property other than its owner’s property or on public property” are considered to be “nuisance animals” and can be reported to Cobb County Animal Control as such (Section 10-9).
All pets must be kept on a leash and be under the physical control of a responsible person at all times while outdoors unless in an approved containment area.
If you see an animal running loose in the neighborhood, contact Cobb County Animal Control. (770) 499-4136

Let’s Keep Our Tennis Courts and Playground Clean and Tidy
Parents, please do not allow your children to remove the river rocks along the sides of the tennis courts, as they are there to help stop the drainage of water, protect the landscaping and beautify Country Walk Amenities area.
Parents, please don’t allow your children to dig and put dirt on the basketball courts.
And of course, please pick up all trash when you are at the playground.

Social Committee Monthly Meeting and Call for Volunteers
Our next monthly Social Committee meeting will be Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 6:30 pm in the CWHOA Community Room. Social Committee meetings are the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm.
As our community grows, we will be able to have more successful events and activities. We are depending on YOU to make it happen without overburdening just one or two volunteers. We understand that each of your families have enormously busy schedules, and we know how important it is for you to have family time. However, it is vitally important that we acquire your assistance for each planned event. Our major events require 5-7 volunteers for 2-3 hours set up and take down decorations. If you volunteer, you won’t be alone: Our board members will also serve as volunteers.
Please contact me via phone or text message at your earliest convenience to sign up as a volunteer for future events. We’d also like to get teens more involved in planning activities for their peers, and contributing to the monthly newsletter.

Our inaugural New Horizons karaoke night was a tremendous success. The evening featured a diverse range of musical genres, including rock and roll, blues, gospel, and country. Highlights included a special performance of “You Are My Sunshine” by young Charlie and her father, as well as an impressive harmonica set.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Vaughn for providing the professional sound equipment and technical support that made this event possible.
Please be advised that there will be no New Horizons activity scheduled for the month of March.
Best regards,
Pat James, New Horizons Coordinator

The HOA board is pleased to announce that Rid Property Services, a locally owned firm, is our new landscaping company.

March’s ACC focus for inspection: visible trash barrels & recycle barrels.
ACC Updates:
ACC Reminders:
- ACC has up to 45 days to vote on projects, please plan accordingly. Not all votes can be expedited due to vacations/work/scheduling. The more information that is provided, the better the chances are for a quicker approval. Diagrams, measurements, specifying materials, listing approved paint colors and numbers, and attaching copies of any necessary permits from the City of Powder Springs to the original request will reduce the back and forth and get your project approved quicker.
- Any project change or modification that can be seen from the road must have approval from the ACC via an approved Modification Request.
Work done without submission of a modification form and without ACC approval is subject to a non-negotiable $750 fine.
If you have any questions about upcoming projects or violations, please email modifications@allinonemgmt.com.
