Dear neighbors and friends of Country Walk,

Happy New Year!

As we post a new calendar it is natural to think about the year that has passed and the new year, 2026, that is to come. As the new HOA President, I am thinking about the 2025 HOA team and everything they’ve accomplished and the 2026 HOA team and what they (and you) have to look forward to.

I want to thank the 2025 board and the entire HOA team including volunteers and advisors, for the fantastic job they did last year and for the wonderful proposals moving forward.

As board members, our goals are focused on transparency, progress and fairness. And we as a community must work together for the greater good. I am very excited about our prospects moving forward.

Several projects are currently in the works. These include pool area and tennis court repairs, playground and general facility maintenance, which you’ll notice in the coming months. The Social Committee and New Horizons are also coming up with interesting and fun events for the coming year.

As a friendly reminder:

  1. Assessments are due February 1st, 2026.
  2. Annual meeting March 1st, 2026.
  3. Please be courteous and responsible when walking your four legged friends and pick up after them. Let’s take pride in the public areas to keep our landscape beautiful.

And speaking of beautiful space, we are discussing the possibility of the creation of a dog park across the street from the pavilion. This requires planning, organization and manpower! If all goes well, we will be organizing a “Community Day” for volunteers and especially dog owners to help bring this concept to reality!

In closing, we have a great team and we are going to have a great year. Please feel free to join us with ideas and support and to get your neighbors involved. We’re all neighbors, and we’re all in it together!

Best wishes for a safe and prosperous New Year!

Sincerely,

Rick Cantu
HOA President
Country Walk

Social Committee Monthly Meeting and Call for Volunteers

Our next monthly Social Committee meeting will be Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 6:30 pm in the CWHOA Community Room.

As we enter 2026, the Social Committee invites your participation in organizing events for the year. This year’s major events will be the Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Parade and celebration, and Christmas. We’d also like to have more family activities, including movie nights, coffee and donut socials, family game nights, an anime event, and a corn hole tournament. For teens and adults, how does some flag football sound? And for adults 21+, how about a bingo night, a twilight social, and a trivia night? We’d also like to get teens more involved in planning activities for their peers, and contributing to the monthly newsletter.

As our community grows, we will be able to have more successful events and activities. We are depending on YOU to make it happen without overburdening just one or two volunteers. We understand that each of your families have enormously busy schedules, and we know how important it is for you to have family time. However, it is vitally important that we acquire your assistance for each planned event. Our major events require 5-7 volunteers for 2-3 hours set up and take down decorations. If you volunteer, you won’t be alone: Our board members will also serve as volunteers.

Please contact me via phone or text message at your earliest convenience to sign up as a volunteer for future events.

  • Any project change or modification that can be seen from the road must have approval from the ACC via an approved Modification Request.

Work done without submission of a modification form and without ACC approval is subject to a non-negotiable $750 fine.

If you have any questions about upcoming projects or violations, please email modifications@allinonemgmt.com
